The album is released in conjunction with the England Footballers Foundation, which will receive 10% of proceeds from all physical and digital album sales. Note that the England players have been donating their international match fees to the foundation since its inception in 2007, and this exciting new album will continue their valuable support. The Three Lions Captain, Steven Gerrard said:

All of the players are committed to the England Footballer’s Foundation and are proud to partner with Universal Music on this unique album. It has been an enjoyable experience pulling together our favourite track selections for our England fans, and importantly this product is helping us to raise vital funds and awareness for the charitable causes we choose to support.

Respected footballer selected Bastille‘s ‘Pompeii‘ while Ross Barkley chose Ben Pearce‘s ‘What I Might Do‘ as his ideal choice. Avicii would have won this round as well, as ‘Wake me up‘ selected by Steven Gerrard and his collaboration with Nicky Romero‘s ‘I Could Be The One‘ was tapped on by James Milner.
