If any of the rumours are to be believed, Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard, wishes to try his hand at DJ-ing according to reports.
The 33 year old mid fielder, who’s already in ace form on the field at the moment and hoping to secure Liverpool’s first league title win in 24 years. However, it seems that his post-retirement plan involve him bringing his energy to the dance-floor across clubs.
A close friend of Steven Gerrard discloses, that the footballer has been receiving classes on mixing and DJ-ing for a few years and even spins under the alias of DJ Stevie G at the Merseyside nightclub Garlands. He had this to say:
“There were 2,000 clubbers dancing along to Stevie’s mixing skills. He loved it and he’s really good too. Stevie thinks that playing in front of big crowds at nightclubs can replace the buzz of playing football in front of big crowds.”
All we’d like to say, is with the World Cup just around the corner, we’d like for Stevie G to perform on the field first, but we can definitely look forward to Stevie G performing at an Arena near you, in one way or another!
