The producer and composer legend Giorgio Moroder is the living example of the moto- you’re never too old to do something new. As the 74 year old disco maestro works on his first album to be released after 16 years, he displays his interest in the works of the emo king of dubstep, Skrillex.
Having worked with the most reputed names in music world with the likes of Daft Punk, David Bowie & Blondie and producing some of the finest works himself, Moroder has garnered the top stature of respect in the industry.
As stated by the legend himself, he has around 10 to 15 singers or musicians who want to work with him at the moment, but one artist who caught his fancy was Skrillex. During his visit to Sydney for his performance at Vivid Live, Moroder hinted a possible collaboration of these two musical prodigies soon.
“Skrillex is certainly one of the best, if not the absolute best of that new dance stuff”, he had to say. A collaboration between the two would definitely be something to look forward to!
