Do you get a bad case of FOMO aka ‘Fear of missing out’ when your favourite act is about to perform near you? Well, then Facebook and ‘Live Nation’ came up with the perfect solution for that!
The two companies launched an ‘Official Events’ tab for artist pages on Facebook that would direct you to Ticketmaster purchase pages. The first to feature this option on their official pages were the Bonnie and Clyde of the music world, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The feature will be available soon for other music pages, sports teams, theater and family events as well.
The tab will allow the fans to get updates on dates, tickets and other news of upcoming events of their favourite artists by clicking ‘Join’ or ‘save’ options. This is a real breakthrough for artists trying to increase the reach of their promotion and makes things much easier for their fans too!
