Deadmau5 has been on a hot run for a while now. If 2015 lacked the mau5 in your life, Joel is making sure your present year is all you could have ever wanted. With a highly anticipated album scheduled for later this year and prized performances scheduled at Ultra Miami on the ASOT Stage and a once in a lifetime B2B With Eric Prydz at Tomorrowland, the spotlight is on the Canadian heavyweight.

Now to add to what already seems like a heavy meal of mau5, the master himself dished out some colossal news this past weekend. In order to celebrate his own imprint mau5trap Records‘ 100th release, the bossman confirmed plans of working on something really really ‘special’. He took to Instagram to upload a video teaser whose caption read “Working on the official 100th release on mau5trap records. It’s been a long 7 years, you’ve come a long way baby.” and of what looks like a remix/VIP of unarguably, one of the greatest electronic music masterpieces to have been ever created, “Strobe“. A rare gem which came out of deadmau5’s fourth studio album, Lack Of A Better Name, the track still goes strong having completed 6 years already.

As we await for the upcoming work courtesy Joel Zimmerman for our aural pleasure, check out the teasers below and stay tuned for further updates!
