Well, the French have a way of making us love them! Whether it be their iconic on-stage appearances or simply their pioneering techniques in the studio or irresistible energy behind the decks. One such artist, who has so long been touted as becoming the next big thing, that he may have already become one, is French prodigy Hugo Pierre Leclercq aka Madeon. With a soundbook which is pleasantly original, he has a penchant for making music that is alluring as well as has that big room shape-shifting terrain that we love to hear!

Working hard on a new album, Madeon promised to keep his awaiting fans engaged in the month of February by giving away a free song for download! However, he wasn’t about to make it easy on us! So, out comes a little puzzle that requires you to put your Graphic instinct at the test, as a grid of 9 blocks with random lines require to be solved in order for you to download his sensational track ‘Cut the Kid‘! Revealing that he made the track a couple of years ago, however never having the time to release it, he’s now giving it away for free, once you solve the riddle of course! The track features that signature Madeon style as stepping beats and piano grooves merge with chopped up vocals and arousing synths to create a heady concoction of mesmerizing textures. So its time to get that Indiana Jones gear out of the closet and get down to uncovering this mystery to unlock this beautiful track!
