The largest and most renowned dubstep producer Skrillex & the notorious Major Lazer who is probably the next most blatant person after mau5 himself have officially announced a new collaboration with Flume. There is absolutely no looking back now from here on!
Speaking on confirmations, the CEO & founder of HARD Events and Holy Ship, Gary Richards, agreed that indeed this association was true putting all the rumor mills to sleep. Gary said “A ton of collaborations have resulted from the close quarters and chill vibe [of Holy Ship],” Richards told New Times Miami. “Skrillex is what they call an ‘OG.’ He hasn’t missed a year and has since worked with fellow shipmate Boys Noize, as well as just wrapped up a two-track collab with Flume.”
Major Lazer has also recently revealed that they are working on a collaboration with Flume after hanging out at 2014 Big Day Out. “Yeah man, believe it or not we’re actually leaving Flume’s house right now, we had a nice time there. We just went over to his apartment for a BBQ. He’s an amazing producer, great guy, so, for sure.” is what he had to say about his buddy.
This year is indeed a big start for the young producer and we are sure its going to be one hell of a ride from here on!
