Following the latest round of funding for SoundCloud came to a close recently, The Wall Street Journal have released the company’s valuation which is now hovering at a staggering 700 Million dollars. With their latest round bringing in excess of 60 million, the music sharing giants have further solidified their position as one of the leading music platforms across the world, with numbers to back it.

Now even though the company still finds itself behind the likes of Spotify and Pandora, the latest round of funding shall allow SoundCloud to ‘grow more rapidly in product, personnel, and expansion in mobile efforts’, according to a representative of the company.
