Along comes the latest in Insomniac related news and it seems to be another fantastic step forward. The industry leader has now shifted gears towards yet another endeavour to launch their very own imprint, ‘Insomniac Records’. Surely, it makes perfect sense for one of the largest electronic music event companies to turn it’s attention towards harnessing and releasing it’s own brand of fresh electronic talent. The news comes directly from an interview with Insomniac’s Artistic Performance Director on the Drop Show.

According to sources, projects already slated to be released on Insomniac Records, include the likes of James Egbert and some other former Discovery Project winners as well. While this naturally will mean further competition for leading dance music labels already in existence, this is certainly good news for emerging artists to enjoy the benefit of a brand new platform opening up for them.
