Preview: Thomas Schwartz & Fausto Fanizza – Kirk [EP]

Italian producers Thomas Schwartz & Fausto Fanizza hop back to the Anjunadeep label with a three track magnificent EP ‘Kirk’. Their previous masterpieces “You Would / Mad Dog” were certainly great works of art and we were pretty sure this is not a single bit less.

The A-side of “Kirk” (the title track) is a clear illustration of Thomas and Fausto’s deep and menacing sound with their masterful melodic touch. Whereas with “This World” Schwarz and Fanizza dig deeper alongside a lively low end build progressing towards a hypnotic breakdown. Second on the B-side is “Tomahawk”, which is filled with dark, moody bass notes and pitched down vocal samples showcasing a harder edge to their range.
