The charges against Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac, Reza Gerami of Go Ventures and ex-Coliseum events manager Todd DeStefano, have been dismissed by a local judge. L.A. based Superior Court Judge Terry A. Green threw out the remaining charges against the three defendants, after the parts of the suit were stricken down last year.

The initial charge alleged that the promoters paid Todd DeStefano under the table to gain access to the L.A. Coliseum, among other venues, for live events. While the current suit is invalid, the Coliseum Commission that looks into operations at these properties may amend the suit by July 31.

“There is no comment until discussion with the Coliseum Commission next Wednesday”, said Coliseum manager John Soundbrook, but mentioned that next steps will be discussed at the next meeting.

However, Rotella is still under indictment for the same charges with DeStefano and Gerami for allegations of conspiracy, embezzlement and bribery for unfettered access to the Coliseum for the popular Electronic Daisy Carnival festival, which has since been relocated to Las Vegas.
