A few weeks ago, Feed Me took to Twitter to explain why he’s taking time away from DJing and it was largely thought that he was pretty sound in his reasoning, but due to different stories being reported post the announcement which left a number of fans sad, Feed Me has in his own words gone on to say, “a few sensationalist blog headlines later and I’ve apparently been controversial”.
Feed Me decided to let loose on his Facebook, breaking down a number of points of interest. Explaining the rest of his year schedule, he said “I’ll most likely do one or two shows for NYE“; following that with “Once all this is done, hopefully in the first half of 2014, if I feel like touring is a good idea, then I’ll get to it“. His comments are certainly promising within the context of his entire post, so we’re hoping he is just taking the time he needs to work on his projects away from the road.
Near the end of his post, the British graphic designer and production genius who’s real name is Jon Gooch further talks about his second album being in the making. We’re definitely souped for it and can’t wait to hear it. Prior to being Feed Me, Gooch first broke out on to the dance scene as a drum & bass DJ and producer and he took the name Spor. The project had been seemingly shelved with sparse releases and little information. Responding to a comment on his post, Mr. Gooch said that he had done both (a Feed Me album and a Spor album).
Jon also went on to announce that he would be launching a new label although there is no word yet on what it’s called or when it will launch, but rumour mills are already buzzing of tracks being signed so it could be sooner rather than later.
Additionally, he wants to make a short film featuring himself and Feed Me of course referring to the animatronic Feed Me puppet he created rather than his own stage name. As huge fans of Jon, we’re definitely intrigued to know more and are looking forward to seeing more from him in a previously unexpected medium.
