After playing to a humongous crowd of 80,000 people in Mumbai for the World’s Biggest Guestlist Event, Dutch titan Hardwell is all set to make his return to the concept, this time headlining the inaugural edition of the World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival in December.
Talking about the target for the 2017 edition of the ‘World’s Biggest Guest List Festival’ and his project the United We Are Foundation, Hardwell said:
In 2015 we helped put the spotlight on something that is of great importance to the future of many young children living in Mumbai. The entire team were blown away by the response of the fans and sponsors that day but it felt like only the beginning of the journey. Although we achieved, and excelled, with our donations goal, we all knew that more could be done. So, it is for this reason we decided to go back to India and make the goal even bigger by aiming to educate 100,000 young children. And this time, I’ll be joined by some of my biggest DJ friends who will be helping us achieve this aim.
The festival, which is slated to take place from the 1st to 3rd December will cater to sports and live Bollywood music as well, with Hardwell closing the festival on the 3rd December.
Talking about the whole initiative, Shailendra Singh, Inceptor of Guestlist4Good, said:
84 million children in India do not attend school. That is more than the entire population of Germany! Joining hands with Anna Knaup and Hardwell, we will throw the biggest entertainment-for-good event on the planet in 2017. With the love and support from the fans, we aim to enrol 100,000 underprivileged children in Magic Bus programme and put them on a path out of poverty. And to thank them we will give the fans a game-changing entertainment experience, whilst making history once again.
