It’s been about two years since techno giant Simon Baker has been spinning his shadowy side under the alias of B.K.R. Now, he makes another masked appearance in 2017, pairing with industry heavyweight, the Hot Creations master Jamie Jones, to devise an all-new EP based on Dusky’s renowned 17 Steps, as the duo fraternises their sound for the first time since their 2008 ‘Kaskazi’ stint on Get Physical Music.
Their recently revealed track from said EP, titled ‘Bubble & Squeak’ stays close to the signature techno inclinations these veteran producers have established as their style, yet manages to secure an edge by virtue of its quirky nature. With a glitchy, distortion-dipped bassline, elevating percussion and sharply synthesised stabs that , this track is foaming brilliance and is almost slated to be your next techno addiction and a rave favourite!
