Remixing an artist like Betoko whose seminal productions are complete in themselves is no easy task. But in his latest “The Prophet” EP, Chicago-based Darin Epsilon does it like no one else. ‘Shorika’ is a proper peak time number, one that’d hit you perfectly in the middle of the night, while Darin’s rendition takes vibes en route the serene road . Low on tempo but full on progressive energy as it comes back to life followed by the intrinsic breakdown. Chilled and lying easily on the atmospheric side, this one is apt for building great deep or progressive house sets. With remix for ‘Shorika’, Darin’s year is already in for a good start and we’re just looking forward to hear more from him.
