Please note that the following report is based upon pure speculation.

One of the hottest duos in dance music to have come to existence in recent times, Jack Ü might soon be a thing of the past. The highly acclaimed collaboration between Skrillex and Diplo which was debuted at Ultra Music Festival back in 2013 has successfully went on to dominate the dance music industry with a Grammy Award winning debut album and several headlining performances at festivals all across the world.

As per speculation by fans, our friends at EDM Chicago recently reported that their might have been a fallout between the two dance music heavyweights. Going by a since-deleted tweet by the OWSLA boss man which suggested the absence of Jack Ü shows in the future “for a long, long time“, Skrillex simply replaced the former post with this one which you can see below.

Fast forward to November 2016, all the bits seemed to be in place as it should be when Sonny happily wished Diplo on social media. While there was any major sign of trouble yet to be seen, the whole ordeal seemed to officially exist when fans noticed that Wesley Pentz never wished Skrillex on his birthday this past week.

After further digging, more facts came to light when fans realised that Diplo doesn’t follow his compatriot on Twitter and Instagram any more. A massive indication of things indeed, Skrillex’s dedicated thread on Reddit got to work and put on their detective caps. Consequently, as confirmed by dance music’s breakout act Slushii, fans were left shocked when the young artist confirmed that there’s a “whole thing” going on between the two. While he refused to dish out further information which isn’t already public, we hope that the entire speculation dies down and the two veterans continue to remain friends and collaborate in the future.

Moreover, with several Jack Ü productions already in the pipeline, including previously teased collaborations with  and Florence + The Machine, keep your fingers crossed for positive news to come out of the two producers’ respective camps.
