Anybody and everybody has been a fan of the Chemical Brothers. Having defined electronica since the last two decades, the legendary duo have pretty much pioneered every sound, style and technique there is. After adapting their infamous Dust Brothers alias for film score productions, the duo began their journey into providing their visionary skills into cinematic expertise. With 1999’s Fight Club, the duo pretty much landed on the market as the hottest property as they regularly featured in various film soundtracks lending their unique sound set, all the while staying relevant in the general Dance Music market as well. In 2010, the pair provided multiple tracks on the thriller Black Swan and in 2011’s Hanna, the duo returned in full flow providing the full score for the film. They return again after 4 years, to assist on the score for the highly-anticipated Jennifer Lawrence sci-fi thriller Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

Chemical Brothers collaborate in an unusual pairing with New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde and RnB artist Miguel, to produce the grungy ‘This Is Not A Game‘. The track opens with a RnB infused intro from Miguel, before a destructive melody ushers in and marks the distinct contribution of the Brothers. A sparkling electro synth combined by eerie filters and chains reverberate around the song as Miguel‘s vocals carry the track till its crescendo. Check out the unique track below.
