News which most of us have been waiting for is finally here. Infected Mushroom announced their latest album, Converting Vegetarians II, which is a sequel to their 2003 album Converting Vegetarians. Many fans and people from the industry are of the opinion that their 2003 album, especially Disc 2, is what paved the way for their eclectic and experimental sound in the work that followed. On Twitter, the band declared that CV II took years of work.

Along with the announcement of their new album, they also released the album’s lead single titled “Fields Of Grey“. The track features in the form of distorted harmonies, the vocals of former adult film star Sasha Grey. The beginning might give you a throwback into a very popular IM track, Heavyweight, but what follows is completely different melody. Infected Mushroom have kept intact their signature sound and have provided a good peek into the edginess we can expect from the rest of the album.
