India has woken up to the wonder that is Electronic Dance Music and nothing made this more evident than the release of a new EDM single by leading DJ/Producer duo Sunny & Karan of Progressive Brothers. Ever since they began work in 2011, they’ve been breaking the stereotypical sound of trance in India and made way for a nu-age, niche and original sound.
On August 15, they released a single, #IndiaIndia, where they have collaborated with MC Haits. The song begins with beats on the sound of a horn leading into the unmistakable “India India” chant which immediately reminds one of a cricket tournament. The chanting is followed by a standard and very popular house progression consisting of synthesiser washes and trance beats of the song. Listening to the song, one can immediately picture an premium Indian club on a Techno night. The video consists the footage of various performances by the duo across the country. Appropriately enough, they dedicated this song to all their fans across India who have helped with their success.
