Vh1, India’s premier International Music channel, announced earlier today, a multi city festival taking place over 6 cities. It features 23 Gigs, 28 Artists and take place over two weekends. The Festival, which then culminates to an award show that recognizes and awards all the musical talent on the Indian Music scene, be it electronica, or acoustic.

“The 100 pipers VH1 Sound Nation” is set to take place over multiple cities, namely Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkatta and will be conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 shall take place over May 2nd & 3rd, and Phase 2 is to take place from May 8th to May 11th.  And that’s not all… At the end of the ‘festival’ they will have an Award show finale in Bombay on the 11th.

Currently the artists mentioned are from a diverse range of the broad spectrum that the Indian Music Industry has to offer, from Indus Creed, Bombay Bassment, Parikrama to Lost Storie, Dualist Inquiry, Nucleya & Arjun Vagale.
