Appearing in the latest edition of Resident Advisor‘s on-going ‘Origins’ video series, house stalwart Eats Everything (aka Dan Pearce) takes us on a trip through his life before he hit the big league in the dance music industry.

Thoroughly illuminating, the six minute mini-documentary begins at Pearce’s childhood home in south-west of England, where he first started DJ’ing in his room with a set of massive speakers which would shake the entire house.

From there, Dan explains how he moved onto a number of clubs and locales that served as important stepping stones in his career prior to when his big break finally came, just before he was ready to surrender to the corporate world when his anthemic track, “Entrance Song” was signed by Pets Recordings.
