Martin Garrix ft. Usher – Don’t Look Down

After teasing their fans with announcements on Facebook, and video previews on Instagram, Martin Garrix and Usher’s collaborative single ‘Don’t Look Down‘ is finally out.  The single, which marks another pop-dance music crossover, is Usher’s third collaboration with a dance music artist, with him having previously collaborated with Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta for Euphoria and Without You respectively.

The single kicks off with melodic guitar strings with Usher joining in on with some brilliantly laid down vocals, including his signature falsettos, building up to the breakdown, which takes a different approach to what Martin Garrix is known for, with tropical sounding synths, which would easily find their way to a tropical house production.

The single serves as a hint towards Martin Garrix‘s willingness to try out a different sound in 2015. Check out the track here below and buy it from iTunes.
