Marco Lys – Jazzy (EP) [Preview]

No stranger to the Toolroom Records faithful, Marco Lys returns with his ‘Jazzy EP’. Already a Toolroom regular, with a history of strong releases on the label, this established and gifted producer returns for the release of the ‘Jazzy EP’.
Featuring two jazz infused tech house wonderments ‘Jazz Thang’ & ‘Bepop’ showcase Marco’s production style perfectly. ‘Jazz Thang’ teases with its stabs and sample sections before breaking down to a full brass & key section taking you back to Swing City whilst ‘Bepop’ rolls in with a slightly darker groove and rumbling bass alongside some clever sampling for a more underground affair.
Two tracks that will further cement Marco Lys’s credibility and versatility as one of Italy’s finest house exports.
Out on Toolroom on 11th November.
NERVO & Marco Lys – Don’t Break My Heart [Free Download]

What an unexpected surprise! Aussie sister duo Nervo have hit 1 million followers on Facebook and as would be expected, have decided to celebrate the occasion.
As a special ‘Thank You’ for hitting 1 million Facebook fans and veering a bit away from the pop-ish club/electro music that they’ve perfected, Mim and Liv have released a free download of their collaboration with Italian tech house sensation Marco Lys titled, “Don’t Break My Heart”. The track is deep and bubbly, and still features some jovial retro inspired vocals that we know the girls so well for.

Nervo and Marco Lys to collaborate on a deep house track.

This could perhaps be the most unexpected collaboration till date!
Marco Lys just announced that he is working with the Nervo twins. What is even more unusual is that they are working together on a deep house collaboration. This certainly goes to show that deep house is continuing to rise out of the underground and into the limelight.
The collaboration is out of sphere for both sides as Nevo have made their name with their special pop-infused brand of vocal progressive house, whereas Lys has made house of the techier variety, releasing with and collaborating with the likes of Chris Lake and his Rising Music label. Speculation holds that Nervo could be providing the vocals for this track, but right now, there is no confirmed news.
Additionally no word has yet been mentioned about a release date but we will be sure to update when we have more information, stay tuned!

Marco Lys & F-Man – Ya Mamma (Original Mix)

“I know a place where I can get away it is called the dance floor, Seduced by beats every time I feel it I cannot let go I move my body out of control, I can feel the rhythm drifting though my soul” - Anonymous.
This quote stands out due to it’s the fact that it exactly describes what beats and dance music does to you. You cannot stop, you cannot run and hide, you have to let the music wash over you. That is what techno is all about too.
Released under Flamingo Recordings on June 18th, Marco Lys & F-Man – Ya Mamma (Original Mix) establishes just that. Full of powerful beats and hyper tunes the track goes back to the basics. The track is Dangerous enough to get you to the dance floor and keep you there. The track picks up with fantastic beats and some drums and then moves to a territory of study tunes backed by vocals.
A one of a kind collaboration between Funkerman and Marco Lys this one is a class apart. It will definitely make your booty shake or in the words of the man who made the track himself ’Ya mama is so fat, when she listens to my new record together with @djmarcolys she will eat spaghetti with tulips, shake the bootie on the Dutch / Italian connection and turn into a ghettoblaster with a Boom!!!!’

Chris Lake & Marco Lys – La Tromba (Chris Lake & Nom De Strip Remix)
Chris Lake is here with a remix of one of his own track – “La Tromba”, teaming up with the British artist Nom De Strip for a new rendition of it. The track was originally released back in 2009 by Lake and Marco Lys. The original tech house track has now become an electro house monster, with blaring horn melodies and a sharp bubbling throughout. The drop seems to be sampled from one of deadmau5′s hit track “Cthulhu Sleeps”, which gives a new dimension to the track and is the highlight of the remix. Out now on Beatport via Rising Music, you can’t afford to miss this one out!
