A young 16-year old from Austrlalia, Thomas Budin is declared as the winner for Zedd‘s – Clarity (ft. Foxes) remix contest which has been running for quite a time now. The guy uploaded his remix on youtube pretending to be deadmau5 and as a matter of fact the remix does sound similar to signature mau5 music. Using the heavy chord progression and a tight kick, Tom turns the original into a 9-minute uplifting remix. Anyhow, Zedd seems to like the remix and declared Thomas as the winner of the contest in which numerous upcoming producers took part. The winning prize includes $500, a full-year SoundCloud Pro account and the opportunity for the remix to appear on an upcoming Zedd commercial release from Interscope Records.
