Google Glass making its way into EDM and how!

Electronic music stopped being solely about the music a long time ago. In today’s generation, events don’t solely rely on artists’ performances, it’s all about presentation and packaging a massive treat for the audiences. With giant robots, visuals and lasers already having made their way into each and every club/festival event, we’re definitely citing Google Glass as top contender for the musically driven.
Google has now released a bunch of features that will allow users to gain control of what they’re currently listening to, discover brand new tunes being played near them, as well as launch searches for different tracks, all hand-free. The voice control system is synced upto Google Play and the in Glass media hub. It provides access to one’s own personal playlists as well as Google’s very own streaming service, quite like Spotify. Another update announced were improved sound quality earbuds.
With Nicky Romero and Morgan Page already having experimented with Google Glass first hand, it’s only a matter of time till it gains further attention from artists and fans alike. As part of the video, we see Nicky being ushered through backstage before meeting Sander Van Doorn. The video then gets even more peculiar as Nicky crouches behind the decks, waiting to unleash himself upon what must be the most jaded and uninterested crowd in existence.
