New York City’s most anticipated Halloween event, Pier of Fear, has officially been cut to three days. After RPM was granted five days worth of permits, NYC rescinded two of them. This devastating news will cut out Laidback Luke this Friday and the first day of Steve Aoki the follow friday. An extremely disappointing piece of news, but it seems that the Big Apple will continue to be strict on electronic music events after the tragic mishap endured at Electric Zoo earlier this year. Dear Super You&Me fan

It is with great regret that I have to inform you that this years Pier of Fear will now be a three-day event. Although the promoter was originally granted permits for five shows, due to recent events, the City of New York has denied permits for two of the days. There will now be three shows taking place October 26, October 31 and November 2.

This means that our Super You&Me show scheduled for Friday October 25 has been cancelled. I can’t tell you how this breaks my heart as I already missed the opportunity to play New York when the Sunday of Electric Zoo was cancelled. So to ensure that some of my fans still get to see me play we are putting together a Laidback Luke & Friends event at Pacha on that same night October 25. I know it is not ideal – but it’s the best I can do.

You can exchange your Super You&Me ticket for a Pacha ticket and receive a 20% refund (on a first come first served basis) or if you wish you can have your purchase fully refunded please reach out tohelp@flavorus.com. Ticket buyers can expect an email in their inbox shortly.

After the sell out success of Super You&Me at Governors island last summer this was set to be another blow out event during Halloween so please be assured that myself, my team and the promoter tried every possible way to have the show go on, however due to recent local events it was simply not possible.
