Danny Avila signs with Hakkasan to become youngest DJ ever to hold Las Vegas Residency

Danny Avila is moving at the speed of sound, a sound that he is controlling very well. The recently turned 18 year old is already breaking records with a magnificent way to celebrate becoming an adult. Starting this month, the young Spaniard will be hitting the decks for the summer in Sin City with the likes of Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and Tiesto (who will be keeping Ibiza off his itinerary for the first time in 10 summers). Avila is knows for his energetic and genre defying sets which we here at The Bangin Beats are very fond of. Recently he released an album with Ministry of Sound called “Danny Avila Live” which gives anyone who hasn’t witnessed his skills a chance to experience his track selection. We recommend seeing this DJ whenever you get the opportunity.

According to Neil Moffit, CEO of Angel Management Group, it was Avila’s “captivating drive” and “youthful spirit” that “breathes life into his performances.” He also added, “(Danny’s) nascent but ambitious career mirrors the spirit and drive of Hakkasan Las Vegas, and we are excited for this synergistic partnership.”

Danny has had a one wild ride with the release of “Breaking your Fall”, his east coast tour Generation Wild Tour with Deniz Koyu, dBerrie and Mikael Weermets.

Look out as he has promised many new tracks coming out this year. You can be sure that we will be watching him closely to bring you the latest from Danny.

Here’s a little message he left for us and his fans :)

Ministry Of Sound Presents: Danny Avila Live [Album Release]

Danny Avila is taking huge strides when it comes to his career. The recently turned 18 year old has played over 200 shows, released music with Big Beat and Interscope, and has received support from some of the biggest names in the business. He has opened and played along side people like Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand and not to mention the Generation Wild Tour with Deniz Koyu, Mikael Weermets and dBerrie.

All this aside, what really sets this young-ling apart is his skill behind the decks. Coming from someone who has now seen him in action thrice, the energy that oozes out of his track selection is like none other. Jumping between classics and brand new releases, he is able to bridge the gap between genres as well as fans. Knowing exactly how to interact with the crowd, the Spaniard succeeds at encouraging the dance floor dwellers to do more than just fist-pump. He not only brings you bootlegs, mashups and trap mixes of recent tracks, but sneaks in so many classics that are way before his time, for example he mixed in an acapella of “Numb” by Linkin Park as well as the infamous Star 69″ by Fatboy Slim just two nights ago at Bijou in Boston. The crowds at his show go buck-wild which only fuels his sets even more. Check out our YouTube channel for some snippets of his sets with much more to be added soon.

Ministry Of Sound Records is celebrating Avila’s budding talent by releasing an album called ‘Danny Avila Live’. This will be a 24 track compilation that features some of the biggest tracks that Avila is playing during his sets. For anyone who hasn’t heard him play or seen him live, this mammoth album represents exactly what the Spaniard does behind the decks.

“For me, (this mix) is really, really special,” said Avila, currently on tour in the States. “Ministry of Sound is one of the biggest brands in dance music history and I’ve always loved it. Not only because of the label, but also the club and all the people involved with it. It’s such an honour for me that Ministry asked me to do this compilation.”

Bringing forth a burning hot fusion of Electro, Dubstep, DnB, Progressive and Trap, this mix was recorded in the nine-day electronic music binge that Danny had in Miami for the Music week as well as his two sets at Ultra Music Festival. On the topic of Miami: “It’s one of my favourite cities in the world,” he added, “and it was in the middle of the music conference so I had a lot of inspiration!”.

Here is a little mini-mix to give you an idea of exactly what to expect with this release, also find the track-listing below.
