Flux Pavilion – Blow The Roof
Once again, Flux Pavilion aims his bass cannon straight at the roof to give us a sneak peak of ‘Blow the Roof’ .
The track brings to mind the effortless genre-mashing of ‘Kill The Noise’ – with some dubstep, and it rides a bouncy, moombah-ish 110 BPM groove — but it resists many of the signifiers of either style.
In fact, the Blow the Roof EP promises to “defy predictability” by incorporating sounds from 8-bit , early rave, and even hip house. You’ll also hear a few rap guest spots, including Childish Gambino on the early stand-out ‘Do or Die.’

Childish Gambino collaborates with EDM superstar Flux Pavilion, UK’s king of drops. It all started with a few twitter mentions between the two and from then it is history. We bring to you the clean version for now, but expect to hear the CDQ when Flux drops his “Blow The Roof” EP on January 28th 2013.
‘Do or Die’ begins with an upbeat, building instrumental accompanied by some solid bars from Gambino before exploding into the trademarked epic, heavy bass of Flux. Although hip-hop and dubstep have long been intertwined, this joint effort may be one of the strongest of its kind to date.
