Hard Rock Sofa – Rasputin (Original Mix)

Having already come up with three incredible releases on the label over the past couple of years, Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa return to Axtone Records for their four tryst with ‘Rasputin’ which serves as homage to the late Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin.

Rich in pulsating bass and raw energy that the Russian duo have become synonymous with, ‘Rasputin’ sheds further light on Hard Rock Sofa’s uncanny ability to produce tracks which go on to become festival favourites and get played by some of the biggest DJ’s on the planet.

The track follows in the footsteps of ‘Wakanda’ and marks yet another fantastic release for Axtone from the heavier side of dance music.

Hard Rock Sofa – Rasputin (Preview)

Hard Rock Sofa - Rasputin

The Russian duo “Hard Rock Sofa” make their way back to Axwell‘s label – Axtone Records and they seem to be back with a stellar track called “Rasputin”. The title takes inspiration from one of Russia’s most infamous historical figures – Grigori Rasputin, but it’s fair to say Hard Rock Sofa have somewhat of a different agenda to the ‘black monk’, one involving spreading their unique take on house music worldwide.

Rasputin‘ is another tailor made track for global dance floors, with industrial beats combined with a turbo charged break and subtle sample, this track has all the hallmarks of what we’ve come to know and love from this duo. This catchy and stomping track is already getting played by the likes of Swedish House Mafia in their #OneLastTour, premiering it in their Sydney show, this track is already making festival crowds rave and it will continue to do that in the summer of 2013. To be out on Beatport : 11th March and on iTunes & all other stores : 25th March.
