Soccer Mommy Launches New EP with Acoustic Takes
Soccer Mommy, the artist persona of Sophie Allison, is set to release a new EP titled Evergreen (Stripped) on June 6, under the Loma Vista label. This EP revisits her 2024 album Evergreen with a collection of pared-down versions of its tracks. The EP consists of six songs, including the previously released “Driver (Stripped)” from February, and the newly launched “She Is (Stripped)”. You can listen to the latest track below.
Interestingly, “She Is (Stripped)” is a unique track on the EP as it does not have a full version on the Evergreen album. “It was a really special track that didn’t make it onto Evergreen, but I felt the stripped version captured its essence and stayed true to the original demo,” explained Sophie Allison in a release statement.
