Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Japanese Breakfast delivered a captivating performance of their single “Orlando in Love” from the album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women). Michelle Zauner, fronting the ensemble, both sang and played the acoustic guitar, accompanied by a small orchestral group. You can watch the performance below.
Zauner also recently released a music video for “Orlando in Love,” which she directed herself. Her previous visit to Fallon was in 2021, where she performed “Be Sweet” from the album Jubilee, and “Jimmy Fallon Big!” from Soft Sounds From Another Planet.
The album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women) is scheduled for release on March 21. Following the release, Zauner and her band are set to embark on a tour starting the next month.
