Japanese Breakfast is expanding her current tour to further promote her latest album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women). The tour extension includes new shows in cities where earlier events sold out, as well as places like Los Angeles and San Diego that were skipped previously. A complete schedule of the tour dates can be found below.
The artistic force behind Japanese Breakfast, Michelle Zauner, has released a new music video for the song “Winter in LA,” a track from her recent album. The music video, which Zauner directed alongside Peter Ash Lee and was produced by Ssense, was shot in South Korea. It features Zauner dancing in a deserted bar dressed in a wedding outfit. This video for “Winter in LA” comes after the release of other videos from the album, including “Orlando in Love,” “Picture Window,” and “Mega Circuit.”
Based on her performance at Coachella, there’s a possibility that fans attending the upcoming tour dates might experience Japanese Breakfast performing a cover of the Gorillaz’s 2010 hit “On Melancholy Hill” once more.
Learn more about Japanese Breakfast’s track “Be Sweet” which is listed in “The 100 Best Songs of the 2020s So Far.”
