The band Horsegirl is set to embark on a new series of concerts across North America this summer to promote their latest album Phonetics On and On. The tour begins on August 4 in Madison, Wisconsin, and concludes on August 26 in Denver, Colorado, with Godcaster as the opening act for each show. You can find a full schedule of Horsegirl’s tour dates below, and also watch the music video for their recent hit “Frontrunner.”
This upcoming summer tour adds more dates to Horsegirl’s busy year, which already includes a winter tour they announced previously. The band will perform in their hometown of Chicago on February 22 at the Metro, supported by Lifeguard and Answering Machines. Following this, they will join with Free Range to play additional shows along the U.S. East Coast. Horsegirl will also head to Europe in June to perform at several venues, including the Primavera Sound festivals in both Barcelona and Porto.
Their second album, Phonetics On and On, serves as a follow-up to their 2022 release Versions of Modern Performance and is set to drop on February 14 via Matador Records. Although the band members moved to New York for Nora Cheng and Penelope Lowenstein to attend New York University, they returned to Chicago to record their latest album at Wilco’s studio, The Loft, with Cate Le Bon as the producer.
