Just a couple of days after gracing the Recording Academy’s red carpet for her Grammy-nominated work on Tigers Blood, Waxahatchee has released a new track titled “Mud.” This song is an extra from her sessions for her upcoming 2024 album. Give it a listen below.
Hot on the heels of this release, there’s more thrilling news: Katie Crutchfield and her ensemble will be joining the stage for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour alongside legends like Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, and Sheryl Crow. Waxahatchee will be part of the tour from September 5 through 19.
Amidst a packed touring schedule, it’s worth noting that the Outlaw Music Festival is just one part of Waxahatchee’s busy season. She’s also curating a special event at Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch on March 14, featuring artists like Lucinda Williams, Bill Callahan, Futurebirds, and others. Moreover, before this festival, Crutchfield will hit the road again with Wilco for a series of over a dozen concerts across the U.S. in April and May. All of Waxahatchee’s upcoming tour dates are listed below.
