D23 2026 Unveiled: Disney’s Ultimate Fan Event Returns to Anaheim!

D23, the premier event for Disney aficionados, is set to make its grand return to Anaheim, California, from August 14 to 16, 2026. This event promises to be a grand celebration and forward-looking exploration of all things associated with Disney, including Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and beyond.

This exciting announcement was made during the Destination D23 event, where it was also revealed that the festivities will be hosted at both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of “marquee showcases and presentations,” along with “immersive experiences, exclusive shopping opportunities,” and a series of events throughout the week leading up to the main gathering, including D23 Day at Angel Stadium and D23 Day at Disneyland.

For those eager to join in, Disney has announced that tickets will become available in the spring of 2026.

“D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event provides a unique opportunity for fans worldwide to immerse themselves in the finest of Disney’s storytelling and innovation,” stated Michael Vargo, head of D23. “We are already devising new and exciting ways to elevate the experience for Disney enthusiasts when we reconvene in Anaheim. We’re eager to deliver an event that will be truly memorable.”

Looking ahead, the team has unveiled additional D23 events to anticipate:

• New additions to the D23 Spotlight Series include a D23 Spooktacular Spotlight with Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, FL; a Halloween “Boo-nanza” in California with panels featuring favorite Imagineers and Walt Disney Archives, themed activities, a DJ, and more; plus a celebration for the second season of the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians this December in California.
• The upcoming D23 On the Road series starts November 1, honoring 35 years of the holiday classic Home Alone with interactive screenings in over 18 cities across the U.S., bringing the magic of D23 directly to fans.
• The beloved “A Jolly Holiday on the Lot” event will return to The Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, CA on Sunday, December 14.
• A new D23 Gold Theater virtual event will be hosted by Disney Legend Don Hahn, featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Haunted Mansion as it transforms into the Haunted Mansion Holiday.
• Details about the brand-new Walt’s Los Angeles Tour for D23 Gold Members, including visits to iconic locations and ending with dinner at one of Walt’s favorite restaurants. More details on this tour will be announced soon.
• Additional dates are soon to be announced for The Official Walt Disney Studios Walking Tour – Presented by D23, which will introduce new interactive elements and expanded ticket options, allowing D23 Members to purchase up to four tickets and options for full tour buyouts.

Additionally, Vargo shared that Disney Legend Jodi Benson, known as the voice of Ariel, will serve as the first official D23 Fan-bassador. In this role, she will engage with fans and make appearances at D23 events leading up to the 2026 fan gathering.
