New Edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion Game Announced

The latest addition to the Alien franchise, “Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One,” an action-horror game renowned for its immersive experience, is scheduled for an enhanced release. Remarkably, this upgraded version does not require virtual reality gear for gameplay.

Slated for release on PC and PlayStation 5, the “Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition” will be available from September 30, 2025. This new edition promises more formidable Xenomorphs and improved graphics. Starting today, gamers can add this non-VR version to their wishlist on platforms like Steam and PlayStation. However, there is currently no information regarding its availability on Xbox.

The game was initially launched for PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024 and later for Meta Quest 3 in February 2025.

Survios, the game’s developer and publisher, has priced the Evolved Edition at $29.99 for the standard version, with a Digital Deluxe edition offered at $39.99.

Immersive Gameplay and Setting

“Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One” is set in the narrative gap between the original Alien and its sequel Aliens. The game plunges players into a thrilling expedition to the planet Purdan (LV-354) in a quest to locate a former team member. The storyline intensifies when Zula and her Synthetic ally, Davis 01, are ambushed, finding themselves trapped within the eerie confines of the Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ Castor’s Cradle research facility. The gameplay is laden with intense action, suspenseful encounters with Xenomorphs, and enigmatic elements that deepen the narrative.

Expanding Alien Universe

The Alien franchise is currently experiencing a significant expansion. The new FX TV series “Alien: Earth” is expected to premiere later this year. Additionally, a crossover with the forthcoming movie “Predator: Badlands” is anticipated. Moreover, there are talks about a sequel, “Alien: Romulus 2,” and the development of “Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part Two” is already underway.
