Global Premiere of “Young Suchard” by Dori Media Group
Dori Media Group, an international production company, is unveiling its latest TV series, “Young Suchard,” at the LA Screenings, marking the beginning of its global distribution efforts.
The series “Young Suchard” chronicles the ascent of Lior Suchard, recognized as the world’s foremost mentalist, to global stardom. The narrative intertwines factual events with creative storytelling, offering a glimpse into the unique skills and secrets that propelled his success, providing the audience with an opportunity to delve into the enigma of his remarkable talents.
The Making of a Mentalist
Spanning 20 episodes, “Young Suchard” blends elements of reality and fantasy, merging comedic and dramatic themes against the backdrop of the colorful 1990s. The show follows a young Suchard and a quirky band of friends who uncover and cultivate his mentalist capabilities through various escapades, which include performing mentalist tricks, tackling challenges, and perhaps experiencing his first romantic feelings.
Dori Media’s CEO, Nadav Palti, highlighted the series’ broad appeal, noting that it is crafted to captivate families across the globe with the fascinating story of Suchard’s journey in discovering and mastering his mentalist skills.
Lior Suchard himself shared insights into the series’ conception: “I am often asked by people everywhere about the origins of my abilities and the techniques I use. In response, we’ve developed this series with Dori Media, which is a blend of reality and fiction, to answer just those queries,” he explained.
Suchard is celebrated for his unparalleled performances that have wowed celebrities, business leaders, and audiences in over 90 countries through prime TV shows and major corporate events.
The series, crafted by Elad Chen, Suchard, Michael Stern, Shlomit Arviv, and directed by Aaron Geva and Mickey Triest, aims to engage young audiences with an exclusive peek into the world of mentalism. This field, often misunderstood as mind-reading, actually involves a sophisticated understanding of various disciplines including body language, psychology, anatomy, mathematics, and specialized tools.
Expansion into Game Shows
In related news, Dori Media, in collaboration with Abot Hameiri, America Television, Kapow, and Open Kimono, recently announced a new original game show titled “The Auction.” This show is being produced by America Estudios and is set to premiere globally on América Television, Peru’s leading network, by mid-year. Dori Media will handle the international sales for this game show.
“The Auction” pits two teams, each consisting of five family members, against each other in a dynamic and suspenseful bidding game. Each team is allocated an identical budget to acquire valuable prizes, with the goal of advancing to the final round to win a significant grand prize.
