New Release from Japanese Breakfast
Japanese Breakfast has unveiled a new single titled “Mega Circuit” from her upcoming album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women). This release is accompanied by a music video, a collaborative effort between Michelle Zauner and her long-time associate, Adam Kolodny. You can watch the video below.
The album For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women) is set to be released on March 21 through Dead Oceans. This album is a continuation of Japanese Breakfast’s musical journey, following her 2021 album Jubilee. The first single from the new album, “Orlando in Love,” was previously released and features a romantic, artistic video. Earlier this month, Zauner performed this track with the accompaniment of a small orchestra on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Starting April, Japanese Breakfast will embark on a tour to promote For Melancholy Brunettes.
