They say music can transport you to a new place, but with this mini rave that recently happened in London, it was literally the case.
YouTube pranksters Trollstation took over the London Underground to host a mini drum & bass rave, much to the surprise of the commuters, most of who were pleasantly surprised. Complete with lights, sound system and even an MC, the rave lasted a couple of stops, before it was broken up by the transport police.
The police took the whole rave lightheartedly. An official spokesman for the British Transport Police said:
Whilst officers relish any opportunity to experience underground drum and bass, we’d kindly ask DJs to refrain from using the Tube as a pop-up club.
Another commuter, who was part of the rave, said:
Everyone was enjoying it and it only took up part of one carriage so I didn’t see any real disruption. It was only on it for two or three stops but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
