Space Ibiza finally closed its doors earlier this week. The iconic club that has been nothing short of a global phenomenon has played a vital role to shape up the club culture on the White Isle. And after 27 long years since its establishment in 1989, the party has now ended.
While Carl Cox ended his 15-year long residency last month with a marathon vinyl performance, a 19-hour fiesta took place on Tuesday, 3rd October hosted a 70-plus artist roster to make up for a bittersweet ending which included legendary names such as Eric Morello, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Tale Of Us, Nic Fanciulli, Anja Schneider, Josh Wink, Kölsch, Aphotek, Daniel Klein, Eats Everything, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Sasha, and Carl Cox himself.
And now to commemorate and honor their established presence, a 48-minute long documentary has been released which captures the story of Space in incredible fashion. The viewers are treated to a host of several clips charting the history of the club with additional commentary by influential names within the industry such as Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim and founder Pepe Rosello.
