The Chainsmokers have been dropping hits ever since Roses topped the charts and the recent addition to their collection, as we all know, is Closer. Featuring rich vocals of Halsey, this catchy tune has been ruling the playlists of millions around the world.
With a release of every hit track, follows the wave of remixes by up and coming producers. Same is the case with Alpha x Omega, a Delhi-based duo consisting of two bright young men, Tarush Anand and Lakshya Mahajan. Their past remixes for the artists like Calvin Harris and Zedd have been well received and now they are here with a beautiful future bass remix of ‘Closer’.
Starting with an orchestral intro, the piano fades into the mix, with the vocals taking the focus, and the moving percussion keeping the rhythm dynamic. War drums lead the build up and deliver us to a vibrating drop, while arpeggios keep tumbling in the back of the track, as wide and twisting synths wreak havoc. It is simply not possible to stand still while this remix is on.
