Time Warp Argentina’s Promoter Held Responsible In Connection With Drug Deaths

Argentina Bans Large Scale Electronic Music Festivals After Five Die At Time Warp

We’ve seen a surge in drug deaths in the past few events, and one of the tragic incidents was the negligent death of 5 attendees at the Time Warp festival in Argentina. Federal Judge Sebastian Casanello has targeted Dell Producciones, the event promoter for the these deaths and has ordered the arrest of a number of key staffers at Dell Producciones. Maximilliano Avila, DP’s attorney, has been detained along with Carlos Maria Garat, the man in charge of the venue’s evacuation plan. Head of DP, Adrian Conci is also being held accountable. Along with these, 28 other defendants are to testify in front of Casanello for the case.

As a result, DP will be temporarily prohibited from hosting events in Buenos Aires. Also, the city’s mayor Horacio Rodriguez Larreta has banned the permits for large scale events until a permanent law preventing drug use at events is put into effect.
