Another day. Another deadmau5 gem. What has been the case for the past few months now, the Canadian genius continues to dish out track previews and WIPs hot out of his studio every other week. Coming fresh off a loaded Miami Music Week which saw the mau5trap boss perform at the ASOT Stage and also replace The Prodigy at the Live Stage on Day 2 of Ultra Miami, Joel has returned back to the place where we want him to be!
His latest SoundCloud teaser is titled ‘Rio‘, an instant reminder of the living legend’s true progressive house styles. Falling short of the 2 minute mark, the clip is a future essential if it is fortunate enough to witness completion. A clean and signature chord progression which shapes up the tune, the track flows through seamlessly with vocal chops adding to the drama laid on top of a sombre melody.
