You can never know what deadmau5 has in mind when it comes to Ultra Music Festival. After the Canadian had “joked” about playing black metal at his debut ASOT performance during UMF, many had just taken his tweet lightly.
However, the mau5 did stay true to his word, closing his set by playing British metal band Motorhead’s iconic hit ‘Ace of Spades‘, as a tribute to the band’s lead single Lemmy Kilmister, who passed away in December last year.

Zimmerman also opened his set with a death metal song, much to the bewilderment of the crowd who were hoping for something much more conventional.
