There’s no doubt in how legendary French duo Daft Punk helped shape up the electronic music right from their start during their early 90s. But that’s not all! Moreover, it has been their futuristic costume which has topped off their sonic art amongst the global audience. Not only has it successfully made people fantasize over it, but has even become a staple at cosplay events and is a strong contender against our other favorite, Darth Vader. Not drifting away from the topic at hand, thanks to builder Greg Santacruz and photographer Tim Bottchen, we have pictures to have a peek at how the construction of the iconic pieces come to life.
In the DIY project, Greg reveals the process behind the creation of Thomas Bangalter‘s iconic chrome helmet. The pictures go through each and every step involved right from the construction of the mold to the LED arrangements with several other finer additions involved from the start to end.
