DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2016 Results Announced, Martin Garrix Takes The Crown!

It’s that time of the year yet again. Known to be controversial and frequently disputed amongst the global clubbing circuit, the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll has swiftly grown to be one of the most heavily followed DJ rankings worldwide.

Martin Garrix has clinched the top prize this year as the Dutch prodigy became the youngest DJ ever to be ranked #1 making an exceptional jump from #3 to topple the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Hardwell. Nonetheless, the rankings continue to be an unjustified parameter for many across the dance music community given it boasts of several names previously unheard.

As for the Indian contingent, Mumbai-based duo Lost Stories have made an impressive debut at #52 while Bollywood act DJ Chetas has jumped several spots to #33 ahead of legendary artists like Eric Prydz and Carl Cox.

Moreover, marshmello took the honors of the highest new entrant on the chart this year, debuting at an impressive #28 and Swanky Tunes had the highest climb, jumping to #27.
