Swedish electronic music pioneer Steve Angello has treated the world to quality music from himself for more than a decade. Moreover, he has also spearheaded one of the most distinguished labels, SIZE Records in the electronic music landscape. Angello has curated the legendary label for the past 13 years and has helped jumpstart the careers of stellar acts like Laidback Luke, Matisse & Sadko, Don Diablo and more. And now after more than a decade of exceptional work, the music visionary has decided to give his creation a complete makeover to depict the style and art it aims to showcase in 2016.
The aesthetic change headed by Made By Forest CEO Jesper Palsson has given the renovated look to the artwork and branding. Also, talking about his latest project, Palsson said,
“We wanted to create something entirely new. Still with the aim to flirt with earlier fragments from the label’s history. The goal was to provoke, experiment and to create visually driven artworks with video as the hero format.”
2015 was indeed a great year for the prolific label with artists like Marcus Schössow, AN21, Dave Winnel, Third Party leading the pack, and with Chapter 2 of Steve Angello‘s debut album Wild Youth set to release on January 22nd, the creative relaunch couldn’t have come at a better time. Check out the video below as we look forward to another landmark year for the Swede.
