The annual Nobel Peace Prize concert, which has seen the likes of A.R. Rahman, Ellie Goulding, Mary J. Blige, James Blunt and many other artists perform at the revered ceremony, is all set to embrace the latest trend and go with dance music for 2015.
Set to take place in Oslo, Norway, Norwegian prodigy Kygo has been chosen to perform at the ceremony, alongside a-ha, Aurora Aksnes amongst others in December.
Talking about his performance, Olav Njølstad, director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, said:
“Kygo is a Norwegian world sensation that we are looking forward to seeing at Telenor Arena in December. Considering the hit catalogue he already has produced, I’m happy that the Nobel Peace Prize Concerts new format allows each artist time for additional songs. Kygo is an inspiring artist. We know he is going to give the audience a magical experience”
The entire concert will be live streamed on YouTube in December.
