We’ve seen a spike in fire incidents across the world in the last year. The latest one that we’re hearing about is in a relatively new, popular, “Ibiza-style mega-club” in London called Studio 338. The club was opened in 2014, shut down for renovations and reopened earlier this year. More than a 100 firefighters were not able to stop the fire from burning the club down to the ground.
According to Evening Standard, the fire started inside the club at 11:45 am. An individual inside the club suffered serious burns and had to be airlifted to get medical help. The 3000-capacity venue recently got a brand new steel and glass atrium and improvements to the venue’s sound quality.
