To say that Daft Punk, Jean Michel-Jarre and David Guetta are the only noteworthy electronic musicians from France would be a grave injustice to Darlyn Vlys. The tech house and deep house supremo has created quite the niche for himself with his own sound, a delicious concoction of tech house and jazz influences, sprinkled with Latin percussions.
A student of films in Montepellier, France, Darlyn was intrigued by electronic music and the amazing electronic musicians he was introduced to in the vibrant city.
Moving to Valencia, Spain to concentrate on music, it was only then when Darlyn created his own style of sensual and captivating tech house, with influences from Jazz and Latin percussions, and there was no looking back for him after that.
His unique sound captured the attention of numerous record labels, and the Frenchman went onto sign up with some of the most respected labels in the dance music industry, such as Suara, Noir Music, Get Physical, Sincopat, Kling Kong amongst many more, with his tracks receiving support from biggies such as Dubfire, Loco Dice, Monika Kruse, Matthias Tanzmann, to name a few.
Having played at a number of wonderful gigs, including Weekend, Barraca, Tresor, Sonar amongst many others, Vlys brings his unique sound to enhance your live music experience.
With a host of EPs and remixes under his belt, the Frenchman is all set to have a stellar 2015 ahead of him.
